This Standard Practice delineates a method for qualification of Elastomer Diaphragms, in accordance with methodology and documentation as described in ASME QME-1, Appendix QR-B that are intended for use in Class 2 and 3 diaphragm valves applicable to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), Section III, Division 1 – Subsection NCD: Class 2 and Class 3 Components. In addition, this Standard Practice establishes methods for production verification and for the development of service limits for Elastomer Diaphragms.

Abstract
